We have 4 community garage sales a year on the 3rd Saturday of each March, June, September and December, RAIN or SHINE. There will be no make-up dates due to bad weather. Random, individual Garage Sales are not allowed. Garage Sales are open to everyone in the subdivision who is interested in holding a sale. Prior approval to hold a Garage Sale is not required. This method makes it more convenient for the homeowners and it saves time for the office by eliminating the need to process paper work for approvals for the individual garage sales.
2017 "Community Garage Sale" Dates: March 18th, June 17th, September 16th & December 16th
For some unknown reasons, many Sterling Green residents see no problem with disposing of their trash from their car window as they drive through the neighborhood or as they walk along the roads. Please help us keep our community clean. Not only are you a “litter bug”, but your actions help to place a negative view of our community to others. This action also helps deteriorate the value of our properties. Remember, where we live reflects who we are individually, as well as the community as a whole.
Burning of any type of debris in this community is not allowed. If any homeowner is caught burning debris, the Fire Department will be called to your home and you will be given a citation from the Fire Department.
Remember there is a “Noise Nuisance Ordinance” in the community. Loud noise/music in Sterling Green C.I.A. at any time is prohibited. Please respect your neighbors’ rights to have a good night’s rest. Keep your music and noise down while having parties and gatherings. This includes loud music, parties, barking dogs, etc.
There is a 12AM curfew in Harris County for youth aged 16 & under. Any adolescent caught walking or driving in the County after curfew will be fined, picked up, or any other action as deemed necessary by the Harris County Sheriff Deputies.
“PARENTS, KNOW WHERE YOUR CHILDREN ARE.”
Homeowners, please remember that Sterling Green is a single family dwelling community. Multiple family living is not allowed in this community. Violators will be fined or required to prove relationship status.
Trash Collection days are Wednesdays and Saturdays.
According to Sterling Green's Modification Guidelines, Sec 11-B, pg. 14, Home Maintenance, Trash and Refuse, all residents are required to store trash cans and plastic trash bags out of public view at all times. Trash can/debris should not be placed on the curb for garbage pick up sooner than 6:00 P.M. the day before scheduled pick up day (Wednesdays and Saturdays) . Once your trash is picked up, trash cans should be removed from the curb the same day and stored out of public view. If the scheduled collection day falls on a holiday, the normal service will be resumed the following scheduled collection day.
Sterling Green residents should place their plastic trash bags INSIDE of trash cans. All trash cans should be left on the SIDEWALK -- not in the street on scheduled trash pick up days.
Best Trash Days/Hours of Operation:
A. Hours of Operation: Collection refuse will not start before 7:00 A.M. or continue after 6:00 P.M. on the same day.
B. Holidays: If the scheduled collection day falls on any of the following holidays, the normal service will be resumed the following scheduled pick up day. Holidays are: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.

The park opens at 7:00 A.M. and closes at dusk.
